We were sadly disappointed by our vacation rental.
The apartment was billed as a couples getaway with a private pool: can arrange private time each day for the pool with the host.
The pool was not in the complex of the apartment but rather a block away. That is false advertising.
The apartment was part of the main house of the host and often during the day you could hear the children talking and playing as if they were in the same house.
It was not so clean when we got there. I had to wipe off the drawers before using them. The outdoor area with table and chairs was very nice after I cleaned it up.
The front door was broken. Quite difficult to open and close. The owner wanted to fix it while we were there but we declined.
The rooms themselves had no ventilation. The two windows had a/c in them and so were not openable.
The bathroom had no window or proper ventilation.
There was only one small mirror in the bathroom.
Host was pleasant but we had to ask for simple things like WIFI access, salt, sugar. No dishwashing liquid, no broom.
The good things were for Shabbat there was a plata and Shabbat kettle. Location is walking distance from a few different shuls and about 10 min from kosher food market with prepared kosher food. There are also some kosher restaurants in the vicinity.
